MMSD Policy 3450 Instructional Class Size

Instructional Class Time is the size of your kids class. The current reductions allowed for AGR Schools are minimal, outdated and not effective in the intention of which they were written.

Our School communities are asking for a reduction in class sizes for the lower grades. This would support:

  • Reduced Behavior Interventions in the classes

  • Less burden on the teachers in all possible ways

  • Push required maintence of the full building to allow our districts existing assets to be fully utilized.

  • Foster strong classroom community between pupils and Parent-Teacher relationships

  • Support Early Literacy gains in MMSD early learners

  • Builds strong school communities through consistent teachers and staff in the buildings (i.e.
